Contact-free Continuous Monitoring: Integrated technology can continuously track your patient’s heart and respiratory rates (HR/RR) contact-free:
- A sensor installed under the mattress detects cardiac and respiratory motion.
- The sensor updates HR/RR values, and the information is compiled in an algorithm that creates a running trend of HR/RR.
- When HR/RR exceeds one of the set thresholds, the bed will notify staff via local alerts and through customizable alerts via a compatible nurse call system.
